Shipping policy

General information about the shipment.

Orders placed before 8 am GMT+1 will be dispatched on the same day. Any other order will be dispatched on the next business day.

Delivery to all destinations is subject to a fee that changes by the country of destination (between € 10.00 and € 50,00).

We kindly recommend filling the shipping form in all its parts, including an address where the parcel can be hand-delivered. Kopajos accepts no liability in case of missing, non-delivery, or stolen parcel.

We use to deliver with UPS Express Saver. If you prefer to arrange the shipment with a different courier, please send us an email before any order. All the costs will be at your expense. Kopajos accepts no liability in case of non-delivery.

CUSTOM DUTIES

Kopajos is unable to advise on the exact cost of possibly, customs duties if provided. Payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival. Any customs duties are at your expense.

FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT SHIPMENTS TO BRAZIL, TURKEY, AND RUSSIA.

Kopajos does offer delivery to Brazil, Russia, and Turkey. However, shipping rules from our delivery partner UPS apply. To proceed with the shipment, the following requirements must be met: order value must be under €1000; you have to provide a full name as it appears on your passport and your passport number if required. Kopajos ships to Brazil, Russia, and Turkey on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis. This means that no taxes and duties if provided, are included in the final purchase price. Please note that shipments to Brazil, Russia, and Turkey are subject to restrictions, delays, and local duties and taxes up to 50% of the total price paid. You will be invoiced for these costs directly by our shipping partner UPS or by your custom house.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • 1 – General

(1) The following terms and conditions (by now named “Terms and Conditions”) shall govern the sale of goods by PRODUZIONI KOPAJOS SRL (also known as KOPAJOS), with registered office in Via Antiniana 115, 80078, Pozzuoli (NA), Italy, VAT 10141291210 (by now named “we” or “us”) and the buyer (by now named “you”). Any terms and conditions that you propose to amend or derogate are subject to our written consent. By placing a purchase order through our website www.blog.kopajos.com, it is deemed that you have read, understood, and agreed to our Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any clause of our Terms and Conditions, please contact us.

(2) We reserve the right to add, delete or amend these Terms and Conditions without prior written notice at any time, at our sole discretion.

  • 2 – Contract

(1) Orders are only possible via this website (www.kopajos.com), or through our official social media channels (www.instagram,com/kopajos, www.facebook.com/kopajos) or through our only WhatsApp Contact (+393662127968). As soon as you have filled in the electronic order form on the Kopajos website and confirmed your order with the “confirm” button, the contract between you and us is established following the present Terms and Conditions without a separate fulfillment confirmation from us. The same rules shall apply to any order placed though our social medial channels or Whatsapp Contact, right after the payment has been made and the terms and conditions have been received.

(2) When you placed the order and approved with the “confirm” button shall apply (i.e., prices, shipment cost, etc.), the prices and conditions are shown when you placed the order.

(3) You acknowledge ordering the products for your private, non-commercial use. Distributing the acquired products for a commercial purpose is prohibited. We will protect our trademark rights according to the applicable trademark rules.

(4) If you wish to place an order of a higher volume or commercial distribution, please contact us for a specific individual order (mykonos@kopajos.com). In the case of non-information, high volume orders, or high rates of orders in the short term, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order.

  • 3 – Characteristics of Products

(1) Each page of www..kopajos.com shows the essential qualities of our sunglasses. Essential qualities include lenses, frames (not including inserts or frontal pins that can change based on the production series), and nose pads.

(2) Please note that while we have made any effort to display the colors of products accurately, the actual colors you see significantly depend on your monitor and may not be accurate. If you have a problem, question, or concern, please contact us immediately at mykonos@kopajos.com.

(3) Kopajos will ship you the most recent version of the sunglasses you purchased (i.e., the current collection with the combinations displayed on the product page). As listed in paragraph 1, the essential qualities of the sunglasses include lenses, frames, and nose pads; if something significant changes (specifically sunglasses size, design, and material), Kopajos will inform its customers right before or after the checkout.

(4) Kopajos reserves its right to ship the sunglasses with or without the brand’s hard case in its stores.

Rigid cases are subject to limited availability. Any request for the whole box, including the leather or metal case within the box, must be made before or right after the checkout. Kopajos reserves its right to ship or not ship the rigid case anyway.

  • 4 – Prices and Payment

(1) The total price of your ordered items plus shipping fees (if requested) as displayed (in Euro) on the web page will be billed to your credit card. The total price will be clearly visible right before you will proceed with the checkout.

(2) For orders placed and shipped outside the EU, the total price does not include any import duty or customs charges. These charges will be collected by your local authorities when the items arrive at your country’s Customs House. Customs charges are determined by local laws, and you are responsible for paying them.

(3) If the shipping address is located outside of the countries or regions listed by our system, you may be charged the country’s applicable import duty and sales tax (including VAT).

  • 6 – Your rights of Exchange/Return

(1) We are pleased to offer an exchange/return policy for any reason within 14 days of receiving your sunglasses. The 14-day period starts from the delivery date displayed by the shipment tracking number.

Even if you checked the Terms and Conditions section right before checkout, the Kopajos Team will show you the replacement/return policy again so that you’re fully informed about your rights and obligations.

Shipping expenses are not refundable.

Please note that if the sunglasses were delivered to a region that benefits from free shipping, the shipping charges we incurred will not be reimbursed.

If your country is not listed here, please get in touch with us. You will receive a quote.
If the shipment travels from outside the EU, the Kopajos Team will provide you with all the mandatory documents.

You can select your own courier if our return service doesn’t meet your needs.

Please note that if you select your courier, you must complete all the mandatory documents. Kopajos will not take any responsibility if some of these documents are missing; if the package is not delivered, Kopajos can’t proceed with the refund.

As also listed in paragraph 3 of this section, the customs expenses Kopajos is forced to pay to release the sunglasses from the customs house are at your charge and will not be refunded.

(2) We will verify all the returned products. Sunglasses must be delivered back in perfect condition without signs of usage. All the return costs are up to the buyers. We will dismiss the returned product if:

– it shows signs of visible use;

– It was damaged as a result of the return transport.

Likewise, no product will be taken back if it shows signs of damage or interference, such as:

– natural wear and tear;

– events out of our control, e.g., natural disasters;

– signs of improper use;

– interference by the customer or a third person;

– extreme use or extreme influence by the customer.

(3) We reimburse your payment, but duties, taxes, customs, and other expenses will not be refunded. Customs expenses depend on the local authorities; we are informed of their amount once the package is released before delivery, and we cannot always provide our customers with their total before that moment. If we have this information earlier than that moment, we will inform you promptly.

In case of a return, you will be charged for all shipping charges we were asked to pay.

The refund of the sale price will be carried out in the same manner as the original payment was made. In the case of the pre-payment method to order, we would ask you to please include your banking details.

4) By reading our Terms and Conditions Policy, you are fully informed that

  • If you cancel your order and return sunglasses, you confirm that you will accept all the Terms and Conditions of Kopajos listed on this page.
  • Your refund will be processed using the Terms and Conditions listed on this page.
  • Kopajos assumes that you read and fully understood the Terms and Conditions that will be applied to manage the return itself before starting the return procedure.

(1) All rights of trademarks, designs, texts, and all other products are under our sole copyright. This website is protected by copyright. Modifications, reproductions, or any imitation or copy is forbidden.

  • 8 – Privacy and Policy

(1) We will not share your data with third parties. The only reason we have to give your data to third parties is for logistical reasons (i.e., shipping your bought products to your address). All data collected from our web site are used for internal purposes only, respecting the GDPR Directive (EU) 2016/97 and any further update of the law.

  • 9 – Warranty on relevant defects

(1) In case of a relevant defect of the products, you have the warranty rights provided by consumer law. The legal warranty covers faults of conformity, which become apparent within 24 months from the date of delivery that, at that time, were not immediately detectable. For making claims, you must notify us of the defect’s presence within one month since you have discovered it. According to the law, in case of the legal warranty’s applicability, you will be entitled to recover the goods through repair or replacement, or, if that is not possible, to reduce the purchase price or the contract’s resolution.

  • 10 – Applicable Law

(1) These Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be interpreted under the laws of the Italian Republic/Repubblica Italiana. It is expressly excluded the application of the UN Convention on the International Sale of Goods Contracts.

(2) The court of competent jurisdisction is only the Tribunale of Napoli (NA).
